It’s been one year since I published my first post on this blog. What changed?

Well, not so much, but still quite a lot.

What changed - a boring list

TL;DR: pretty much what I wanted to change.

  • I met cool people.
  • I have successfully followed the path I laid before me: reaching prescience. In everyday life, I feel it slow. But by looking back, I see how much I’ve grown.
  • I’ve fixed my back to some degree.
  • I finally opened a real philosophy book.
  • I’m committed to my two projects; one of which is a actually a stable day job that’s going to make me a millionaire anyway.
  • I did go to Drum’n’Bass shows and learned how to enjoy them.
  • I fell in love with the right person, for the first time. With a person that I like both out of passion and out of reason.

Wishes for next year

This is something I did when I reached 19 years old: a checklist of stuff to do for when I am 20.

(I did not do it this year… Thought about it, but always delayed it.)

So. Let’s start again. I will now do this on my “blog birthday”.

For the 2023 edition, I will have two lists. One will be predictions. A checklist of stuff to tick off. (it’s satisfying)

The second list will be key items to remind myself everyday, to keep me on the right track.

Daily reminders

I must remember these fully, every day.

  1. Vision - You are waking up to attain your vision.
  2. Consistency - Work hard, today, and preserve yourself for tomorrow.
  3. Precision - Work slow on your problems, if you need it for them to be solved right.

Predictions

  • I have started investing at least 1/3 of my income in a “global-market” strategy.
  • I had consistently good work days.
  • I have taken a good chunk of vacations. At least 30 days of vacation. No work.
  • I have met a friend from another part of the world.
  • I have actively sought for mentorship in my relationships.
  • I have transformed my night-job to be profitable.
    • [ ] I have hired someone to manage operations.
    • [ ] I have opened a real company.
    • I have diversified our offering.
  • I have grown as a developer and problem-solver. I am a boomer developer. Slow, right, predictable. Instead of fast, wrong, unreliable.
  • I have grown as a person. My values are deeper, and more true to myself and for common good.
  • I have started consistently producing music again.
  • I found love.
  • I slept well.
  • I improved my health rather than deteriorated it.
    • I started regular sports.
